Course for Fostering Advanced Professionals Who Can Administer Sustainable Blue Economy
Program Outline
- The Japan-China-Korea Program (Marine Environment and Energy Professional Training International Courses), implemented from AY2011 to AY2025, is integrated into the OQEANOUS Plus Program starting in AY2026 under the new title, "Course for Fostering Advanced Professionals Who Can Administer Sustainable Blue Economy" (commonly known as the OQEANOUS Plus Certificate Program), and expanded to the ASEAN region.
- Students from China, South Korea and ASEAN countries will study together on multiple field related to Ocean so that they can aquire broader perspective and skills to solve complex social issues of the world.
- Students will acquire certification for completing the course by meeting the completion requirements of the course (13 credits).

*The credits you acquired for the course can be included to the number of credits of completion requirements. - The course uniquely offer some subjects, and "Case Workshop on Marine Environmental Protection" is required, "Internship for Marine Environment" is highly recommended to take. Both subjects are established to develop practical skills to solve social issues.

ASEAN: In principle, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University (Thailand), Universiti Malaya (Malaysia), IPB University (Indonesia)
- Students entered by general entrance examination

- Application period: Around the end of October to the start of December

- Necessary Documents (Application Form, Statement of Purpose, Photograph card/Applicant's ID card)
- Application Method: You will apply through your affiliation of undergraduate program. Details including the deadline or selection will be informed thorough the office in charge of your affiliation.
- Selection procedure (at TUMSAT): Selection by documents, and Oral examination by TUMSAT faculty (on-site at your country or online)
