[Message for future students]
Mr.Imai
Through the internship and residentship programs, I gained invaluable experience working with real ship data in a practical, hands-on way that would be hard to achieve within the university setting alone, and applying AI to it. This kind of practical learning went well beyond what classroom study can offer, and I truly hope future students will take on this program as well. Going forward, I hope to build on this experience in my further research and work.

Mr.Ishii
While working as an engineer developing autonomous navigation systems, I have conducted research on reliable AI and on the use of simulation and AI to improve the safety and reliability of automated systems. One of the most memorable experiences in this program was having discussions with students and faculty members from various academic fields about AI technologies that are actually needed in society. Through these discussions, I was able to view my own research from a broader perspective.

Mr.Darasiri
I highly recommend the WISE Program to both Japanese and international students. For me, it became an important turning point, giving me the opportunity to work in the field I was truly interested in, gain valuable industry experience, and eventually pursue my career with one of the companies I had the opportunity to work with through the program. If you are considering joining, I encourage you to take the opportunity. You may find that it opens doors to experiences and career paths you had not previously imagined.
