The 17th OQEANOUS Plus Meeting was held online on June 23, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Lim Chaewoong, Coordinator of Korea Maritime University. Attendees included Professor WANG Xichang, Executive Dean, Graduate School, Mr. Zhang Zeming, Coordinator of Shanghai Ocean University, Professor Wanwimol Klaypradit, Commmittee of International Program and Associate Dean for International Affairs of Faculty of Fisherie, Professor Yaowapha Waiprib, Assistant Dean for International Affairs of Faculty of Fisheries of Kasetsart University, Associate Professor Bong Chui Wei of the Universiti Malaya, Lecturer Ichsan Fauzi of IPB University, Professor Ikuo Hirono, Vice Dean of Graduate School, Professor Hidehiro Kondo, Professor Daisuke Watanabe, Associate Professor Labe Perez Ivan Antonio, Assistant Professor Redo Mark, and other staff members from TUMSAT.
The main topics of the meeting was the Short-Term Program (STP) to be held this summer, next OWEANOUS Plus meeting held Hybrid, the expected number of participants for the Fall 2023 exchange program update and the schedule for the Spring 2024 exchange program update.
In the meeting, ①Reconfirmation of the schedule for the STP Summer School by TUMSAT, ②Detailed information of next Hybrid OQEANOUS Plus Meeting at TUMSAT, ③an update of the number of exchange students for 2023 Fall Semester by Shanghai Ocean University, ④ Update of the student exchange schedule for the spring semester of 2024 by Shanghai Ocean University were made.
The next OQEANOUS Plus meeting is scheduled to be held on August 7, 2023, at TUMSAT in a hybrid format with TUMSAT as the chair.
