The 13th OQEANOUS Plus Meeting was Held

The 13th OQEANOUS Plus meeting was held online on February 17, 2023, with Mr. Zhang Zeminge from Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU) as a chairman, Prof. Ikuo Hirono from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT), Prof. Cheol Huh from Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU), Assistant Prof. Wanwimol Klaypradit from Kasetsart University (KU), Associate Prof. Lee Choon Weng from Universiti Malaya (UM), Dr. Ichsan Fauzi from IPB University (IPB) and other faculty staffs.
The main topic of this meeting was Online Exchange Program (OEP) which will be held on Mar/17. We confirmed the schedule of submitting the details of participants and the criteria for selecting team leaders for group discussion and presentation. All consortium universities are excited about the large number of participants and expecting for the great success.
Then the meeting agenda followed with Short-Term Program (STP) 2023. This fiscal year, TUMSAT is going to hold STP summer school and we are now planning to provide online lectures at the end of July, but the dates and destinations of field trips are still under discussion. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.
The next OQEANOUS Plus meeting is scheduled to be held online on Mar/24/2023.
