"皆さん,こんにちは!私は上海海洋大学の大学院の修士2年生です。" I am very glad to come to Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. As a participant of OQEANOUS Plus Program for half past year. I gained valuable experiences, made lasting friendships, acquired new knowledge, and created a lot of memory for Tokyo!

This is also my first time coming to Japan. Although as a Chinese person I can understand many Japanese characters, the initial difficulties in language communication made my life and studies in Japan not very smooth at the beginning. With the help of many Chinese international students and friends in the laboratory, I overcame the obstacles and adapted to life in Japan. Now that I have returned to the campus of Shanghai Ocean University, looking back, it still feels like an incredible journey.
2.成長の第二章(Class& Laboratory)
There is a quiet different between Chinese and Japanese class. In China, it is common for a class to have a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 200 graduate students attending together. This has made me accustomed to passively receiving knowledge. At Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, the classroom situation is completely different. The number of students in the classroom is far fewer than in China. This means that students can receive more individual attention and guidance, and have more opportunities to express themselves and participate in the course. You need to invest more time in preparing the content for the class and in expressing your viewpoints.
The Japanese language classes were equally unforgettable for me. My Japanese improved very quickly! This was the final assessment from many of my teachers. Although the four language classes every week were very energy-consuming, I have to say that my Japanese learning progressed much faster in Japan than in China. I am very grateful for the help from my two Japanese language teachers!
3.忘れがたい最終章
Japan is truly a multicultural country. Here, you can see both its very East Asian side and its very Western side. The night view of Hakodate, Chinatown in Yokohama, the National Museum of Japan in Ueno, the shopping streets of Akihabara... There are so many places I've visited that have left me with wonderful memories.![]()
In Tokyo, especially in Shinagawa street, you can easily find a Chinese restaurant in no time. Chinese food has greatly comforted my longing for my country(even most of them may not seem authentic to a Chinese).
Thank you for guiding me when I was confused, for encouraging me when I was down, and for blessing me when I succeeded. It is because of you that my study and life in Japan have been so colorful. In the future, I will continue to work hard, with this grateful heart, to move forward hand in hand with all of you and create more beautiful memories. Thank you to all the students and teachers who have helped me on this campus.
Finally, I welcome all of you to visit and study in China. Shanghai Ocean University also welcomes your visit.
