Renewal of Cooperation Agreement with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
On August 25, 2026, the Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology renewed its cooperation agreement with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). DTU is one of Denmark's leading technical universities, and the renewal of this agreement is expected to further strengthen educational and research collaboration between the two institutions.

In conjunction with the renewal of the agreement, Professor Ulrik Dam Nielsen from DTU visited our university to pay a courtesy call on the university president and exchange views with relevant officials.
During the discussion session
Professor Ulrik Dam Nielsen is affiliated with The Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering (DTU Construct) at the Technical University of Denmark and is engaged in education and research in the field of naval and maritime engineering, with expertise in ship motions and maritime engineering.
During the meeting, participants reflected on the achievements of previous collaborations and exchanged views on future student exchanges, joint research activities, and the development of educational programs.
Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology will continue to promote the internationalization of education and research and foster globally minded professionals through collaboration with partner institutions around the world.
