【Reason for applying】
　　I had been interested in studying abroad for a long time, but I was afraid of living in a strange place for a long time, and I kept missing the opportunity. That's when I found thisnd felt free to apply because the term was only two weeks.

【Online Classes】
　　Online classes were held for the first five days of the program. After each day's lecture, we submitted a report about the content of interesting lectures. It was difficult to follow the lectures because they were all in English, but I was able to learn about the fisheries situation and marine environmental issues in ASEAN countries.

【Field Trip to Korea】
　　At first, we visited Korea. We stayed at a dormitory in KMOU. There was a convenience store, post office, and bank on campus, so there was a comfortable place. I visited several laboratories during the lab tour in KMOU. The facilities were new and very clean. KMOU students were very kind and actively took us to introduce KMOU's facilities and sightseeing around the university.

【Field Trip to Japan】
　　Next, we visited Japan. We visited the Institute for Environmental Creation Research and Oizumi Station, where we learned about ongoing aquatic environmental research and environmental chemical analysis. On the final day, there was a group presentation on what we experienced and learned throughout the program.

【Overall】
　　Although it was a short-term program, it was a very fulfilling two weeks. I became very good friends with the KMOU students. One of the most memorable events for me was when I went to Ginza with the KMOU student. Iorried at first because the only language we shared was English, but it was the most memorable experience for me because we were able to interact with each other while enjoying shopping and eating.

　　Participating in STP this time lowered the hurdle for me to study abroad, and I would like to try it again if I have the chance. If you are anxious about long-term study abroad or have any interest in studying abroad, please join this program.
