Course of Maritime Technology and Logistics, through education and research, attempts to:


(l) contribute to safe ship operation using advanced technologies in information, communication, automatic control, system optimization, and ship operation management, etc.
(2) realize effective marine transportation that preserves marine environment.
(3) apply the rich tradition of ship operation to various fields such as the development, management and operation of new marine structures.
(4) study the commodity flow comprehensively from production to consumption, including the inter-modal transport system, inventory control, processing and assembling, packaging, information systems and environmental measures.
(5) attain an extensive understanding of logistics management, optimization of logistic systems, and logistic information networks.
(6) introduce social engineering view points in the planning management of, and policy making related to, logistic systems.
