FY 2016 MEXT Inter-University Exchange Project：the 9th OQEANOUS Meeting was held.

　　The 9th OQEANOUS Meeting was held at the Korea Maritime and Ocean University on June 25, 2019. Attending from the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology were Prof. Maita, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology (who is the person responsible for implementing this project at this university), and three other members of university staff. The meeting was also attended by President Hojin Lee, Prof. Yoon Sik Kim, Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Huh Cheo, Vice Dean of the Graduate School and two other members of staff from the Korea Maritime and Ocean University, and Prof. Wei Xu, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Song Hu, Vice Dean of the Graduate School and three other members of staff from Shanghai Ocean University.

　　This meeting started with the greeting speech from the President of the Korea Maritime and Ocean University, and was followed by an information exchange on the results of the monitoring carried out by Nord University last fiscal year, the interim assessment carried out in each country, and the results of the external assessment carried out on the same day of the 8th OQEANOUS Meeting. In addition, we discussed the results of the QEANOUS CTSEA Survey to assure the quality and the Check List regarding provision of information regarding the program, and shared the latest information on the summer school to be held at our university this July. Moreover, we exchanged opinions on the DDP Student Symposium and the implementation of an investigation after completion.

　　The 10th OQEANOUS Meeting is to be held at our university this November.
