Course of Safety Management in Food Supply Chain

In response to globalization, food safety management is required to provide the appropriate measures in primary production, food manufacturing, food storing goods, and transport of raw materials to the final consumer. The Safety Management in Food Supply Chain(SMFSC) course aims to not only train students who can understand who have a fundamental knowledge of food safety management, but also develop specialists of food safety management/quality control in the process of food manufacturing, food processing, and food supply chain required to meet the needs of the society. In addition, the SMFSC course is aimed at developing students' practical ability to identify/analyze issues and devise strategies, eventually becoming leaders in the field of food risk management.

The image of the students we are looking for

The Safety Management in Food Supply Chain( SMFSC) course expects students not only to learn systematically about food safety management/quality control in various processes of the food supply chain, but also to gain basic skills, becoming a specialist of food safety management/quality control by nurturing the ability to solve problems and make judgments. It also expects students to develop a strong will and the practical ability to devise strategies and provide instructions, acting as a manager or an administrator while taking into consideration various risks of food safety management.
